Do you perform at private events?

Yes. We play community gatherings and special events across Warren, Saratoga, and Washington Counties.

How long is a typical set?

A standard set runs 45-50 minutes. We can tailor set length and number of sets to your event.

Do The Babes charge a fee?

No, there is no charge to book us for a concert. We do, however, accept honoraria, if offered. And we might "busk" at appropriate venues.

Are you strictly acoustic and do you only play ukuleles?

We do have the ability to use amplification (pickups on our ukes). One of us plays ukulele bass, which is usually amplified. Several of us play other instruments which we might, down the line, incorporate.

Do The Babes invite guest artists to play with you?

Yes! We love having fellow musicians jam with us (this is by invitation only.)

What kind of music do you play?

You name it, we will attempt it. We currently have a repertoire of songs from the 30s to the present day. We play folk, Americana, pop, rock and have even been known to sing in French, Spanish and Hawaiian.

Is there an educational component to your concerts?

Yes. We love to talk about the history of the ukulele, the types of ukuleles we play and will, at times, include Q&A.
